China's Energy Moves

China has just formed a National Energy Commission (NEC) which will be in charge of formulating energy development strategy, reviewing energy-security policies and coordinating international cooperation. China's energy policy has been a hodge podge of industry and government agencies. The formation of the NEC should provide a more cohesive energy policy and it will be worth paying attention to their decisions.

Chinese companies are currently doing deals with Iran while the United States is encouraging global sanctions against Iran because of their rogue nuclear program.

Yet another conflict point between the USA and China.
