Kazakhstan Gusher

Tethys Oil (TPL.TO) announced today that their testing of the upper zone of the AKD01 well in Kazakhstan yielded restricted flow rates of over 5,400 barrels per day. The well is in a remote desert so it could take a long time before it is tied into infrastructure and generating cashflow. The market likes it very much today.
