Energy Bull Market Presentation

Here is a slideshare of a presentation I gave in Vancouver recently. You can fast forward the slides but the audio track won't be synchronized (also there is some "dead air" at the beginning but if you're patient you'll hear me eventually). I know we're not currently in an energy bull market, but the seeds of one are being sown as we speak. Companies are being acquired at nice premiums to current levels so people are starting to see value.

Energy Minerals - Well Worth Watching

I've been a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) since I graduated from the University of Alberta. I confess to being negligent by not following the Energy Minerals Division (EMD). This division was languishing a few years ago, and at 1200 members it could still be considered a fringe element of the AAPG's 31,000+ members.

The EMD serves as an international forum for those working in the exploration, development, and production of energy sources other than conventional oil and natural gas.

There have been some been some major bull markets in stocks related to the technical areas of the EMD.

The future of America's energy supply is going to include a new mix of these energy minerals.
