PTTC Trivia Time

Time for www.pttc.org Trivia!

Founded in 1916, this U.S. company is one of the oldest continuous names in the petroleum industry. The company's famous trademark made its debut at the 1934 Century of Progress World's Fair in Chicago -- and was later a popular exhibit at the 1964 New York World's Fair. Can you name the company and its marketing icon whose popularity with children remains to this day?

Harry F. Sinclair's Sinclair Oil Corporation and its green dinosaur Brontosaurus (now more correctly known as Apatosaurus). Read Dinosaur Fever courtesy of the American Oil & Gas Historical Society.

I'd also like to point out that the Sinclair family of the popular television show "Dinosaurs" was named after this oil company.
