Phony as a 100 Trillion Dollar Bill

I haven't heard anyone use the expression "phony as a 100 trillion dollar bill" yet. However massive inflation in Zimbabwe has led to the production of a some bank notes with lots of zeroes. I first encountered these bills while waiting to cross the Zambezi River to get in to Zambia. They were being hawked in tourist areas for US$5. Paul Kedrosky recently posted a table of historical inflation rates. You don't get 100 trillion dollar bills overnight but it its close.
