Vancouver is the end of the line for the Canadian Pacific Railway. While the name "Terminal City" shows a decidedly eastern bias, Vancouver is going to increase in prominence over the next 100 years. Vancouver is Canada's largest port and there are terminals for containers, potash, coal, lumber, and grain. I'm here for the Vancouver Resource Investment Conference and I'll try to keep things updated as they occur. My date for the next 3 days, Treo, will allow for blogging on the fly. I hope my thumbs hold out. Internet at the friendly Pan Pacific Hotel runs $14.95 a day.
