I watched the British gangster flick, Layer Cake, last night. Although I had some trouble understanding the dialogue, the main character's motives were never in question. If you liked Casino you'll probably like this movie.
"Layer cake" is also geological term for uniformly layered rocks. In some cases a "layer cake" model works great. In areas of complex geology, 3-D computer modelling and visualization are required.
