...and you're still not out?

What kind of game are we playing here?

The nice thing about baseball is that striking out saves the batter from the seemingly eternal humiliation of 10's or 100's of strikes. I'd rather be out after three strikes than be left facing Randy Johnson until I could make contact.

When we invest, speculate or trade we sometimes stay in the batter's box longer than we need to. There is freedom in striking out.
