Obscure Oil Price Forecast Update

We’ve been nosing around the oil supply issue this week which reminded me about a very bold and very wrong forecast made in July of last year by University of Calgary professor Philip Verleger. His prediction?

$20 oil by the end of the year.

He was off by $60/bbl.
